..alot to dish out but could save me from blowing up my account, we shall see. Have you been utilizing the challenge opporunity? Anyhow, I hope you recover quickly from the tore MCL. Was it sports related?

Yeah it was sport related. I have to say I made a little bit more than I invested, but didn't find myself too comfortable. I have been fine tuning what works with me best but I love what Tim Teaches most. Psychology and having a game plan is most important for me and really following it. I focused on that while I was in China and only followed those rules because everything to me was so limited, so I had to take it very seriously when I was on my trade desk. In 2 months I was able to make 20-30k

Man!! I wrote a full on essay and it only showed my 1st paragraph... In short ... It's the value you get out of it. It taught me to stay focus and be disciplined. Tim's blog post of the top traders dos & don't made a huge difference to me. The value I got out of the challenge helped me fine tune my skills... Which helped me cover my last year losses, all the education I paid for, and a little bit of pocket change.

How are you doing with the learning process and trading performance? Paper trading or live with what you learned?

Dream Big, Think Big, Start Small!! This Quote really helped me put things into perspective. Because I dreamed big, thought big, but didn't start small, and by not starting small it can cost you a lot. I always wanted to hit home runs, but now base hits are fine and I just want to stay focused and discipline. Note to Self: Start with what you have, because what you have, is plenty.

@ooitzkelvinoo Hey Kelvin, I am thinking of becoming a challenge student.. my concern is that I want to focus on the long side instead of the short side (no time to be glue to the screen b/c of work). Any recommendations? You're more than welcome to e-mail me at wang.reihou@live.com. Would love to hear from you and hopefully expect to be a fellow challenge student like you soon!

Gotta do what you gotta do! I struggled with that a little in faster moving plays at first. Still do a bit, but Learn Level 2 DVD's really helped me with that, plus recognizing the chart patterns and being disciplined in support/resistance

Warren Buffett said once " You can't force things, some things just take time. You can't produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant."

Very true very true. Takes time doing the basics over and over until you get good at something.

That's awesome. Hopefully I can provide some compeition with you, I have a lot of catching up lol. What's your initial start up? Mine was $500, then realized that was impossible so I'm at $1500.

Roughly 4-5k to learn with, usually only getting in and out with 500 - 1000 shares to learn the strategy.

@ooitzkelvinoo Hi Kelvin, could you please tell me if you are a member of the challenge of Timothy sykes? which solution did you chose to watch the lessons and videos? ( the monthly fee?) thanks in advance for your answer

In reality, I know there is still so much more for me to learn. I suggest don't half ass the education and lose money. Share with me a little bit more with your background so we could analyze the situation. I was told to jump on the pennystocking silver and make some money, save some money, but it was tough.

Annual Savings is definitely worth it.

I would love too once I get this strategy down. Technically I would still consider myself a newbie trader.
