I have been learning from Tim for quite some time and after saving up some capitol i have decided I feel confident enough to trade with my money.
Now I would like to get a SureTrader account to avoid the PDT rule, however, their commissions are hefty for my small account ($1,500). I love the concept of an off-shore broker, but I am not a fan of their fees. With having such a small account, those fees would hurt my progress.
I have an account with Scottrade and so far I believe I will stick with them.
Does anyone else have any recommendations for brokers with reasonable fees and preferably located off shore to avoid PDT?
Thank you in advance.
Are my brokers http://tim.ly/timbroker I GREATLY prefer Etrade right now
Holding stocks overnight makes the PDT irrelevant
Have you told Suretrader what you said in that post....Look at my trades you can work out my commissions.
etrade is great so far. no OTC though. Go with that, ST or TOS if you can.
