Unfortunately, I just went bust. Hit the $500 minimum of Suretrader so I won't be able to trade until I refund (Looking at about 1-2 weeks) so I'm going to use that time to study even more material and rewatch a few videos. Fighting the trend and attempted to scalp (like the pros were doing) absolutely wrecked me today. I won't give up though! You win, or you learn.

VLTC is a great example of hating yourself for not putting money down on a stock you wanted to put money on. I didn't do it as the stock has been choppy and everyone's been expecting a big drop. It went up to $10 and exploded to $18 last night. Crazy. Been on my Watchlist for ages but it happens and will happen again.

I've already lost my mind over this. I was determined not to trade it, due to a lot of the pro's stumbling on it. But this was the greatest opportunity for a long, ever.

VLTC is a huge risk. Icahn bought a second lot of shares which caused the spike. Could it go up? Sure. This sort of thing doest come very often but it could also collapse. After last night I think it will explode again tonight due to the hype. I'll watch.

I definitely recommend getting Suretrader to get around the PDT rule. Also, make sure you adjust your account to the penny stock trading settings ( $4.95/trade up to 10,000 shares, $.000495/share.)
