i don't think enough people post here on profit-ly, many post their watch list but not as many post about their trading experiences and where they are in this journey.
I actually don't want to read about someone's personal relationship's or financials but I do enjoy reading about similar trading experience's. Like a good trade or a bad trade, how you planned out a trade and it's results, what time frame are you using and or indicators, stuff like that.
We are all learning here, we should stay focused on the steadfast teachings from the experts i.e. Sykes, Grittani, Goode and those guys but we can all learn a little from each other.
Some of us have more to contribute than others but it's good to remember where we all started and how far many have come. Don't think that just because you have been doing this for several years and still have not made your million that you are a failure the fact that you are still working at it shows fortitude and perseverance.
If you are someone new to this endeavor you have probably read all the hype about how easy it is to become a successful trader and you have watched the really cool YouTube videos promoting a program only to find yourself out a bunch of money and feeling that you were a fool for falling for the hype, rest assured you were not and are not alone.
But you stuck it out a little longer and found this loud mouth Sykes guy, he's flamboyant, self absorbed, conceited but he's like a flame in a camp fire you find yourself staring at it for hours and actually enjoying it. You dig a little deeper and you find this Sykes guy has a YouTube channel so you watch a few of his videos and you decide that you'll give him a try and you find yourself here on profit-ly.
Trading is a solitary experience, you sit at your trading station staring at charts, reading reports checking for SEC filings so on and so on and unless you belong to a group of fellow traders your circle of like minded people is very small. You might have love'd ones and friends who make an attempt at trying to understand what it is you are doing but they are blinded by the stigma that only stock brokers and gamblers trade stocks so you are doomed for failure and at times are ridiculed for even trying.
Here we gather as aspiring penny stock traders some are new some are not yet we all have something to contribute. Even if you think you have absolutely nothing anybody whats to read about post it anyways I can assure you that it will be read and you will feel good about your contribution.
Seek the golden fleece but beware of the Medusa along the way blind yourself of wrong teachings and seek only the true path to the magical tree.
Thanks for posting this. you make plenty sense. Are you a challenge student?
