Entry: Good news out of China in the early morning led to $MCP trending up. Looking to make 10 to 20 cents per share. Exit: It got as high as $1.04. I thought I was buying a dip at $1.02, but... it was the beginning of a drop that never returned to the highs of the day. I cut losses at $0.98.

Entry: I bought pre market at $1.53 looking for a $0.10 to $0.50 spike to sell into at the open. Exit: It feels good to finally get my first winner :) I still have to be more disciplined and take profits quicker.

Entry: Bought this pre market on " Orphan Drug Designation." Looking for a $0.20 to $0.30 gap up. Exit: At the market open it immediately started dropping. Held three business days to give it an opportunity to rebound. Finally sold to free up cash.

I believed there would be a morning pop. I cut losses quickly this time when the price dropped from .78 to .73, and then it popped. Just my luck! If I'd waited .01 (penny) longer I could have made a profit instead of taking a small loss. Still learning!

Should have sold into the morning spike, but thought it would go higher. Seeking Alpha put out a negative article that dropped the share price. I believed it would rebound, but it never did. I also failed to get out at .90 as planned. A loss that should have been a profit :( Lesson learned the hard way. I broke 2 rules and paid the price!
