@cwood nice so your saying the challenge did help you? And is starting with 500 dollars enough to trade?
@ivystatus21 it definitely helped, I didn't know anything about the stock market or trading. I'd say $5k minimum

@cwood hey chris question did you take tim;s challenge and also what is your strategy in making huge gains in terms of the stocks
@ivystatus21 Hey, ya I took the challenge back in 2012 & it probably cut 3-5 years off my path to profitability. I don't have a strategy for huge gains, I swing for singles & sometimes I hit a home run. You can find most of the patterns I trade on my blog
@AirplaneJane Thanks a lot I will read your blog to see patterns. Also how do you find which stocks to trade and which ones will do well?
Thank you very much @AirplaneJane, you use your broker to review the market? Actually you know any free web that have a good realtime information to do this considiring I'm still in paper trading stage. Again thank you for all that you do everyday! Really appreciate it.
@leotrade I would say Finviz.com is a fairly good free scanner. Play with it and see what you think.
Thanks Jane! Have a good Sunday!

@ivystatus21 just became a fully transparent trader today!
@andywilliams i would have shorted this then went long I call that a #TarzanTrade on my Twitter but I had no borrows. The cover point for max result on the chart many times when I call a short many who can't buy my cover this time I couldn't short so I bought my own cover and the chart supported it with vol and the scanners said reversal $4.07 I added $4.20 to size once it confirmed as you can see the trade for me really begins there
cool, I was looking to short this after it hit 6 and fell back below 5.75 resistance. Had borrows available too! Hesitated...What scanner are you using to tell you it's a reversal? Is RSI incorporated or something?
Alert lets me know volume is coming in and it is buying or selling volume and it tells me the opposite to when vol is dropping and if it is buying or selling volume. That combined with the chart gives me a possible pivot area now I have to use my chart skills and confirm with time and sales if the entry is good and the risk. $CCCL at $4.07 still had near 10 cents risk but if you read my play it was 4 to 1 which is why no one could lose money on it
ok nice! Trying to time my entries better when I want to go long so everything you are taking into consideration is very helpful...find it much more tough vs shorts for some reason. Thanks for the response!
