I shouldn't have placed this trade. The spread price was my first warning that I didn't adhere to. This stock was about to break through a resistance level and that's when I went long, however it couldn't break through. I didn't adhere to my risk level and thus lost more money.
Was able to recognize through research that this could be a potential short squeeze. It turned out to be correct, however when the price started to pull back after 20 points, I got scared and sold. I've been burned in the past for not selling quickly and ended up losing money instead. The price ended up shooting up 60 point. Oh well, at least I made a profit and glad my research enabled me to make an educated guess.
This was an OTC stock. Started getting morning emails about this stock and I know it's dangerous to play penny stocks. So, I went in with a small size, a small amount I was willing to lose. I thought I entered at a low price, but after I bought shares, it dropped even more the next week. So, I just held on until I broke even. Still learning how to buy at the dip.
I had a couple of companies to chose from. I was just watching the price action and I Shorted right before it hit a key break down level, but it bounced and started to rise. Luckily I had the will power to just cut my losses.
Researched the stock the prior night and had a trading plan in place. Fortunately the stock went red like I suspected. I took profits quickly. Still don't have my full confidence back.
Performed diligent research but my entry price was too low. I tried to Short at 3.25. Price wouldn't drop any lower so I Covered.
Shorted based on Before Market news, shorting pressure, and topping out at resistance levels. Was more patient and was looking a breakdown below 20pts.
Shorted this stock based on Before Market news, potential shorting pressure, and resistance levels. Because of previous terrible performances, I was willing to take profits at 10pts. The stock dropped more than 30pts ... oh well.
