Well, I did it.
I did my homework really well this morning. I prepped well, I plotted, I considered, and I was right. Everything that I predicted in my morning work happened.
I predicted ADOM would go up and meet resistance below .52
I predicted NGTF would break out at .69 and hit resistance at .75 - and that if there was volume, it would have a breakout at .75.
I predicted GSUM would jump up and drop. (I specifically called the bounce at 3.72)
ADOM didn't have the volume to break .52 - I saw that.
NGTF broke .69 and there was volume when I bought in at .76
--entertaining sidenote, I papertraded the spike from .72 to .77
And GSUM bounced off 3.72
So, I was on a roll. Decided to do a real trade. I thought NGTF had the volume to break .75 (it did break it) but then it dried up. I foolishly held. I mean, I've been reading American Hedgefund! When the price goes sideways, the short sellers get ready. Duh. Don't hold there. I put in my exit order at 10:18, first real drop since it went up. Didn't get executed until 10:20 for a disgusting and frustrating loss of 2 entire American dollars and 40 gotdamn cents. Plus brokerage fees.
As I'm typing this, $NGTF - that wiley little stock - is plummeting. I predict the bounce at .60 and there it is!
Okay. I got a 17 dollar lesson today. But I'm getting better. God damn do I feel good about this!
But I will stay humble. Pay a little, learn a lot.
The danger is real. Play smart out there.
keep going. there's a price to pay for theory, and a price to pay for practise. Only with practise can you recoup your investment!
