Coming in with rules!
After discovering Sykes on Impact Theory, closely listening multiple times, and studying Tim Sykes' free material ALL OVER THE WEB, I have decided to take a stab at this - so to speak. I have decided to devote myself to this full time, as often as possible.
I don't have enough scratch for the Trader Challenge. Accumulating that is goal one. Possible milestone: the Master's package.
Opening account: $1k.
My bills are paid for 2 months and I've still got money coming in, so I am going into this with a net - not diving off the deep end.
This coming week, my first week trading, will all be on paper.
Here are the rules I've accumulated:
1. CUT LOSSES EARLY (yeah, I was listening the third time)
1a. If a trade deviates from the plan, LEAVE
1b. When in doubt, GET OUT
2. HAVE A PLAN (could be rule number one so that there can be a plan to leave, but nahh. #1 is cut)
2a. Only invest when you know why
2b. Know your entry and exit points
3. NEVER PLAY WITH MORE THAN 10% OF YOUR ACCOUNT (I may make this smaller as my account grows)
4. NEVER EVER PLAY WITH MORE THAN 10% OF YOUR ACCOUNT (Even after it grows)
5. TARGET RISK:GAIN RATIO IS 1:5
6. POST EVERY TRADE

Thank you so much Tim, Tim, Tim, Dux, and everyone who has faithfully studied under these fine people and so generously shared their knowledge and training. I am coming into this well informed, prepared, confident, and cautious. NOT guns blazing, but rifle ready and finger on the trigger.
Wish me caution!

With a $1k account you have to take bigger positions than 100$, just becareful with the amount of risk & choose the best reward/risk ratio trades you can. Also becoming profitable in 2 months is probably gonna be very difficult. Think about reading Trading In the Zone (it's 2$ on Kindle), good luck!
A old warrior that has fought many battles has many scars, each scar has a story. In trading you will have many wins and many losses and each one will have it's own story. The path to success will be painful at times but glory goes to those who persevere.
