My first trading month has had very important lessons and emotions involved. First of all, I was excited when opened my account on SureTrader. The bad news where that I didn't know very much about the real emotions and situations that can occur when trading with real money. Before opening my account I practiced a week or two on a paper trade account, and I lost on most of my trades.
By the time I started with my real account, I made many mistakes on my first three weeks, losing $300. That has been a tough lesson for me and even wanted to cry, because I thought that trading wasn't for me. Despite of that, I kept studying as much as I can. Now, I can say that the most important action you can take is studying. Things are difficult in life, but the only way to keep up is by working hard, even when times are tough.
Today I had two gains in a row. My account is still under water by $250 or so. However, it feels good to profit when you have had a bad streak. It helps you to recover your confidence, and gives you more energy to push yourself harder.
All I want to say is keep working hard for your goals, and studying from Tim because he is a great teacher.
Thank you.
In addition to what you mentioned above. if you feel you are not not sure about some patterns or you want to try something new. do that on paper trading. no need to rush. Build solid knowledge before it pays off. Good luck
Thank you a lot for your advice. You're right, I'll work on that to be better prepared. Good luck
