Cut my loss on this one

Bought the dip on the break out. Everything was fine on this trade. Starting to play news plays. Using the odds going my way. Bought the dip on the intra day breakout, good catalyst with Morgan stanley taking a stake of 9% in this company, also low float. But playing these news plays with half risk of $50 because this is not my bread and butter pattern but the odds are good enough to take a small and speculative position.

NO MORE SHORTING AND HOLDING. Had to hold though because if i didn't and took my loss I would lose my margin account.

Mistake on this one, thought i can dip buy it but turned out wrong. Markets were going down this day

Cut the loss

Major daily breakout set up, it was working at first but it was a little overextended from the day before. Probably should've risked a little less knowing that i don't like buying that much.

Bought the breakout from the major Daily breakout pattern in Tim Grattanis DVD. Caught a piece of the move, didn't buy into the spike, waited for it to consolidate and got in. Had tight risk which is my new main rule. Adjusted risk on on the way up and got out when it cracked the main price of $8.

Risk got a little out of control but I'm now calm and relaxed. Trading without fear.

Earnings winner, hit my risk and got out with really small gain. Looking more at the overall market conditions more on these earnings winners.
