@RolandWolf Hey man, what would you say is the biggest sources of finding those penny stocks promotions for you now, other than Tim's picks? I signed up for many many promotions as explained in trading tickers but they seem useless.....Also, do you do any spreadsheets? and if yes, are they more OTC or listed stocks focused? Thank you....
Will let Roland answer too, but promotions are pretty much dead. Focus on the other setups in Trading Tickers. Lots of opportunities out there.
Agree w/ @xbows. I subscribe to several promoters, but as of now, none of them have been able to move anything. I do keep several spreadsheets, but mostly just to track and analyze my performance. I also track listed stock set-ups, and keep spreadsheets of past and current runners. There have been some decent OTC plays lately, so I may start to track them a bit more.
Thanks a lot man, your dedication inspires me!
@firroo_g Welcome brother.

I use 4 different scanners at different setting plus I look at a lot of charts.
OILU and OILD are the 3x etfs. while you are making judgements on oil might as well go look at these. but they are very illiquid
Definitely following the Oil Bear ETFs

@Jap11 What do you use for screening? StockstoTrade, or something else?
You need to give the market time to settle so wait for 30 minutes before trade
Use high of day risk after you find it after first red day. Never try to short on green days it reduces liklhood of a win
Cool man, thanks a lot, I appreciate this, makes sense :) GOD bless
what platforms are use guys using for pennystocks trades

@Turbobob, would you say your ideal scanner paramters would lool something like. stocks greater than $1.50, but less than $20.00. stocks with market cap less than 1 billion. stocks float less than 100 million. days volume greater than 500,000. and maybe a 8 to 10% daily gain?
exactly what it looks like.
Hey Bob, do you care at all if the company you are trading is in a foreign country? I see a lot of companies in Bermuda, and China (Of course assuming that the volume and the market cap is good enough to trade them)
One of the problems with trading stocks that may trade on other exchanges is the price action might be affected by events you cannot see. Especially if you are trading chinese stocks, it is too dangerous to hold overnight unless your play is a play on what you are expecting the chinese market to do. Bermuda, or other tax havens not so much as their main market would be the US.

Hey man, thanks a lot for these, very much appreciated, one question if you don't mind: how did you find out about btcs? Or how did you know that it was going to spike? Thank you
@firroo_g No problem! I have actually been watching GBTC for quite a while, and following the bitcoin madness. A couple weeks back, I just did a quick search on all stocks related to bitcoin, and threw them on a watchlist. That is how I initially found it, but Tim also gave an alert in the challenge chatroom as well.

Bob, do you think CAMT can run to your PT in 1 day, or do you usually swing this slower movers? Thank you.

Days to cover is a ratio found by dividing the short interest by the 100 day average volume. The resultiong number is how many days it would take for all the shorts to cover if they were the only buyers and they all covered. A number less than 5 does not have much bearing. Between 5 and 10 with a catalyst and it should add momentum to the trasde. Over 10 and a good catalyst, let the fire works begin!
Thanks for a new watchlist Bob!
Thanks for the regular watchlist, I was also interested in learning about the 'days to cover' aspect, so thanks for explaining that.
Thanks Bob

not necessarily. Price action determines the move at the inflection points
@Turbobob got it ... thx
Great watchlist. Thank you. I'm learning a lot from you.
Glad I can be of help
