@FreddydaFish I will! Thanks man. When I look at them I'll see how they work for me and update you. I usually first test them out on tradingsim, its a market simulator and its really useful.

@855MRZILLA I watch them whenever I can, there are a lot for sure... I try to take the lessons and apply them in a way that works for me. I can't focus entirely on quick morning spikes and such because I have a day job so some of it is hard to put into action for me. I have to focus more on weekly swing trading with big upside to make gains with my small portfolio.

I have the same problem and I noticed I do better on my day trades than my o/n trades.

Gives you time to think and analyze your trades. Also remember its helps you NOT to over-trade. Hope this helps.

@Mars23 Absolutely. If volume is up at day end though, I have definitely made some money on o/n gap ups!

I'm new to trading and I've only been studying for for a couple of months. I have small account and I've made 4 trades, which were all small losses.I also purchased HTMM and watch all of Tim's 4k plus videos. I feel my knowledge is greatly improving and I know exactly what i did wrong on each trade. Keep it up, stay piositve, keep studying and remember one day it's going to click for both of us. Yeah - could not go anywhere but I think after this dip into today it will make gains tomorrow morning. Don't trust me on that though, we will see. Otherwise I'll just cut losses. Upside seems worth it.

was the trade made with restricted funds?

I guess - I have Robinhood Gold, and it used to let me make three day trades in a day if I wanted to but now it says regulation doesn't allow it.

So dissapointed, I have over 30% in gains in Robinhood but cannot sell today because "regulations prohibit selling stocks bought with securities sold overnight". I still have day trades left, makes no sense! So I have to hold until tomorrow morning, hoping the gap isn't huge :(
