Thanks everyone for your input. I however have no kids, no wife, still in my 20's and relatively low rent. I hated that job and I don't see any point in wasting time doing anything else but what I want and that is to day trade. I have alot of work to do but I know what I'm capable of and I know I can do this.
Even if I fail BFD! At least I can look back on this and say I gave an honest shot at my dreams.
I'm never one to take the wind out of a guy's sails but bro, every loss is significantly larger than your wins. I want to do the same as you but I know I'm no where near that yet. Good luck though..
Yepp jst do it like NIKE man whatever u put your mind to u can do it...it have to be ur passion!

As a general rule if you have to wonder, is this a good time to short it means you're guessing. Less predicting and more patterns is the way to go.
Been one of them. Almost took me out of game. Now have long mountain to climb back.
Time teaches you what to look for in the DVDs and video lessons. Study first!

Thinkorswim is the software u could start off with till u save up for a better scanner, watch Arick Russell's youtube guide on how to set up the scanners, also look at finviz, its a bit delayed but u can find good swings with good charts, or during lunch time when its slow. Now thats free advice ha

@yawnabit nice advice buddy.
@mudit1234 I second the finviz.com suggestion. The free version is delayed but good for building watchlists and looking up stats. $40/month will get you real time after 9AM and an email alert for news/price targets for stocks you select.
