@Alohatrader i really don't treat them much differently at all, just kind of try to keep an eye on the top runners in general and get an overall feel of how strong/weak the sector is

@killaD i don't think about how it relates to shares outstanding, just care what the float is and i guess i'd loosely say under 10 mil is what i consider low

@emmanuel1991 those are absolutely all options, the key now is going into tomorrow with a plan for each scenario! maybe i try shorting resistance and have to take a loss. well, then i'd probably be thinking about buying the breakout next! or if i short a gap down with r/g risk, if i have to stop out, maybe i let it squeeze a little more and then restart short with 3.50 risk now. every day i have multiple plans and i just let the action guide me

Hey Tim, thank you so much for your advice. In the end i decided to go with the "Short into bounces" play however ELMD's volume was pathetic and that one of ur major rules. So sat on my hands for this one

Although it has low volume, it has had previous spikes. Your thoughts would be appreciated?

@emmanuel1991 yeah i hate the volume, but also, even though it broke past the .45 area there's still plenty of resistance points overhead that could easily hold it down. It's not up enough off its lows for me to short, and it certainly isn't a clean enough breakout for me to want to buy

Did you not add CIG b/c volume isn't above avg and SID b/c of range? Why didn't you add MGI?
