Was a bit to early on my entry into some delayed spiking on this small biotech up on Phase 1/2 news...went into halt right after my entry and had to stressfully wait through some spiking before rest-of-the-day fade began. Stayed patient and stock hit my ultimate exit goals into close.
Took a half position to widen my margin for error on this delayed biotech spiker up on some pretty fluffy news. More speculative than I'd like with some delayed spiking with volume. Ultimately, stopped out near HOD which is frustrating. But very manageable loss and nice to see I was on the right track as stock is now crashing. On to the next.
Bit of a scared exit here....but even though the catalyst is a bit fluffy on this one, it has a strong daily chart and was looking squeezy with stacking bids. Could've been better, but I'll take the single.
