I need to have patience and examine my entries and exits. I've seen this pattern play out far to often as of recent to be bailing out immediately like I have. DRCT did eventually return to it's high at 5.50, as I was expecting, but I entered late again and chose a lame exit on a decent support level. Damn. Learning learning learning.

Even with a small win, I still chased instead of going with the odds. Ideal entry would have been 3.20, where volume, news, and chart were in my favor. Yet I hesitated and entered into strength at 3.50. My exit was nice though, as strength started wavering and I took my profits. Learning learning learning

New lesson learned. Too liquid/ choppy/ bad entry/ misclick. I entered with a 5 share position at 2.06 and watched MULN peak at 2.09 and drop to 2. It bobbled for a bit then dropped to 1.90 where I ACCIDENTLY BOUGHT 5 more shares. I was pissed, but watched as it bounced back to 2. Should have taken what little profit was offered, but I instead watched as it dropped again. Fled at 1.92. Last I checked it was at 1.70ish. I am doing well with my cutting losses quickly at the least

Dip buy experiment. There was pervious support at 10, but it was not a key support level. The panic was not strong enough to call for a buy either. My exit was solely on my hypothesis being incorrect rather than a fear of holding. At my leave, the stock has bobbled between 10 and 10.15. Will check later to see if my buy was just early rather than completely wrong

LET'S GOO! My first ever calculated win! I saw the pattern with the hype and bought in. I added 1 to my position at 2.40 (the buy was a little late and got it at 2.45) and sold at 2.41 cause I'm a chicken! As of right now the high is 2.62, so not that bad. So excited! Thanks Tim. (Yes I'll be increasing my position sizes in the future. Just wanted a small win to start out.)

More experimental trades eh? I played WHLM after my lesson learned from MRIN, though I was a little slow to the draw. I didn't act on my plan to enter after the dip surpassed the morning high (a pattern I am falling in love with), so I was about dollar late. Once the stock dropped $0.20, I cut my losses. ~30min later, it broke out and hit a high of $8.90. A loss, yes, but a great confidence builder!

This was an experimental trade to see the price action in a highly volatile stock. Mostly to test my belief that the stock would rise. I bought at the open, it immediately fell 30 cents, I panicked and cut losses quickly. Little did I know that it would nearly double by the end of the day. This was a good lesson and I will study from my mistakes. Happy I stayed disciplined though and cut losses quickly.
