With etrade I hear u can negotiate it to 6.99 per trade if u call and tell them to. Interactive brokers is definitely better for small accounts because the fees are very low if u are trading small amounts of shares. etrade is fine but in your case just be extra picky with the trades u take. Make sure u can easily cover your commission costs before u enter the trade

allright thanks Ike, yeah I did call them but with small account and with PDT rules they won't allow me to negotiate it to 6.99 per trade. anyway thanks again Ike, I really love how you actually trade It seems that you are more of a short bias, hopefully I could do shorting too but I can't because e trade only allow margin account to short stocks and still I can't apply to have a margin account because I only have $1800. So for now I am on the long side, but Ike in the long side what set ups do

Hey @eight ! The key to options is knowing how they work like the back of your hand. Once you do, yes it's easy, if not you can do a lot of damage to your portfolio. The top three things to understand are 1. Delta, 2. Theta/Time Decay, and 3. Implied Volatility. Once you are comfortable with options (practice virtually), they are an incredible tool to get a lot of leverage and make huge profits with a small portfolio
