Quick  Question for the Community...

 

How long should a stock stay on your watchlist?

 

I find myself placing a few loans on my watchlist and looking to play them immediately (next day) and they go in the opposite direction of my trading plan so I end up losing interest. But they are still on the list, but I am not watching them to play particularly on breakouts...

so my question is how long should I continue to watch the stock?

Until it is playable for my plan?

when would you retire a stock from your watchlist?

I know there are some unanswerable variables here (money, broker, location, etc.), but just trying to get a general synopsis.
