I did not make any posts last week. I will be honest, I have some big projects at work and did not dedicate much time to trading last week. There is so much going on, I hope everyone here is feeling like they are getting a great market education. I hope to dedicate a lot more time to trading as we move into December. I'm moving a little away from discretionary trading and moving my focused efforts to a quantitative approach. I write a lot of computer software for a living and I have a pretty decent understanding of statistical systems. I also have a true fascination with AI and learn little bits and pieces about different approaches to computer learning. I will continue to share my discretionary trades and quantitative trades once I have a working algo.
I saw a dude make a website recently, it was a personal website about trading. I'm thinking about doing something similar. I will have to stew on that for a little while and maybe find some time to do that. I have an issue with wanting to do too much. I also really want to learn R right now. I want to be able to consume CSVs and spit out graphs and statistics.
I hope everyone here had a great week last week and that this weeks brings fortune to all!
Talk to you soon,
Dtrades
I usually take on too much at once too. Remember this, the man who chases two rabbits catches none. I definitely feel ya on the work bit, last 2-3 rotations I've gotten killed at work, practically killing my trading opportunities.
@CodyMeek Talking about missing opportunity. I am busy at work since a week for next project release. Working as Software programmer, missed a lot of opportunity just last week. But what we can say, some days for you and some other against you.
@CodyMeek @dtrades so we are all in the same boat. no worries. market always have opportunities comes again and again.
