didn't sell enough at 19 after massive run up, held though earnings, got burned. didn't foliow rules and got burning. i think 60% of my losses this year are due to breaking rules, woof
sold into spike. read news and knew it wasn't lasting bc no contract was announced. should have sold all bc of that. should buy back now at 1.15$. when contract is announced, it should spike 20% at least.
sold into pop as I was trying to cancel order to hold longer. ran to 17.75$. oh well, still locked in 90 cents per share
bought on news about uplifting to nasdaq, sold into spikes day before and day of. top ticked day of before it reversed and went a dollar lower. nice.
strategy for NMBL is based on buying under $25 and selling at $27, roughly.
scaled in and out and traded around. buy and hold would have served me well, but did not want to risk a major downturn. now that I've listened to the investor presentation and "get it", I am holding a position for long term. but probably going to buy dips and sell pops too.
bought panic selling. not perfect on the entry or exit, but pretty darn good.
