I do watch the chart more so but have the Level 2's to guide in making decisions to enter or exit. You really have to watch Tim Gritani'sTrading Tickers DVD. He shows live examples of how to trade with using both. It helped me learn how to to trade

So if I want to buy a stock for a certain price. And you know for sure of the range of price for the day, then I would set a buy limit order for the exact price I want to purchase the stock for. Now, you could wait for the price to hit 8.60 and buy or you could but ahead of time and wait for the ticker price to hit 8.60. You just must be sure it will hit the price of 8.60. Stocks can change on a dime. If I'm trading I don't take my eyes off the chart till I'm out.

I see you issue. Your getting in tooo late. Start reading "How to Trade Stocks for Profit"- Harvey Walsh, Start Trading Now- Michael Sincere This book will help you understand when to get into the trade. Also wait for the price action to set up ( the high and low for the day) then get in low and wait till it gets high enough to get out.

@agyeman27 had it on my watchlist already since last night big percent gainers on yahoo. it fit the criteria so i added it. i just keep things on the watchlist for days just flicking through once every hour or so to see if there's any predictable patterns forming.
