
@BrisBloke - Hi, read your comment earlier about having a UK account to trade. I also live in UK and tried getting the E-Trade account but it isnt available for UK residents. I may try SureTrader, Think or Swim or Interactive Brokers - let me know how you get on


Hi! I tried Think or Swim, when you go through the application process they tell you that they will redirect you to Tdwarehouse or something, the link then sends you to TD Direct which does not offer the Think or Swim platform. I am already with TD Direct and have applied for a suretrader account. Issues I have with TD Direct being: 30 minute session timer, really annoying when trying to set up buy orders for opening. They lag behind for US market, one time it was telling me the US market was cl
...closed 3 minutes after it had openned. If you;re a small account the cost to trade US stocks (£12.50) is quite costly.
