Scratch. Low Conviction.
ARPO went on a decent run yesterday, so gave this biotech a chance with small conviction. Took an initial position into the pop, then averaged down risking 4.00, which proved it could hold. Did not budge despite the decent volume.
Was on watch from yesterday as a potential breakout given these have been moving. Took a 3pcs position when it held 3.10 on the first dip. Got a pretty good move initially, but I ended up cutting for breakeven as it didn't want to continue. Broke down below my exit shortly after.
Not really in play in terms of what was running, but had a decent catalyst and breakout nearby. Also was doing very nice volume at the open. Took a couple of tiny postions, but this thing could not move. Cut quickly.
Software stocks were going supernova including BLIN and MRIN. This had a strong day 1 and pulled back. Seemed to be holding 5.00 support, so took a position when it went over/under. Target was $6, but couldn't get there quite quickly enough for me, and 5.50 seemed to be breaking down. Took off for a small gain.
Decent chart, and same sector as the CLOV Reddit pump. Waited for the pullback, then took a position when it held 6.00. Added as it started to break out, and moved risk up to breakeven. Could not break HOD convincingly despite the massive volume. Was right on the thesis, but off on the timing - as this ran to 9 in the late morning session.
