Unfortunately, today was yet an other bad day for me. Did not keep my rules, did not cut losses, instead I bought more of the same stock to average down. That works sometimes, but guess what, if you do get over your own stubbornness and do sell when you are supposed to, all losses will be considered little scratches.
I was buying and buying until the very last warning sign came. By that time I was down over 300 bucks, so there was no way out of it nicely. My only remedy is that meanwhile I sold $ASTI at $0.95 it went all the way down to 0.88 later today.
Did I save myself from a 700 dollars loss? I don't think so.. Until I'm actually able to keep my own rules and cut losses quick, stop hoping for a return and stop "wanting to be right" ... Losses will come...
As you may see, this is a little difficult to process as there is no one to blame in this business but yourself. Loss today. Tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities and hopefully better trading!

HaHaHa!! Don't feel bad, you're not the only. I did the exact same thing with this same stock today myself. Almost identical to what you did today. And of course I made up for my loss through other plays but I was kicking myself for a while after. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies.
