Simple Etrade pro setup along with a well rounded scan I run,
I know when I was brand new I wish I had access to a pre-made tested scan. So im going to release this one of mine out there. Your scan is your weapon in the field without it you are nothing. How you trade with it, is up to you. Learn the importance of a stock breaking a 15 minute high, Learn how to Identify key support/ resistance. Always note volume, and price action. Look at the stock like a person. analyze it. Study it. Each one is different yet the same.
Trading seems to get easier and easier like any skill taking time to develop your own style. But once you can recognize a chart that holds it morning gain, then breaks a 15 minute high your chances of survival will increase.
To import scan into etrade:
Highlight the link with mouse, on keyboard CTRL+C >etrade> Strategy Scanner> Change Strategy> Import Strategy then on keyboard CTRL+V > view and save.
Scans for 15 minutes highs, very useful for catching early runners, stocktwits activity spikes, daily volume spikes,% gainers for the day between .50 and 3$ can easily be adjusted.
hey digital! do you or does anyone know where to find the float on etrade pro? ive searched everywhere i can think of and online; ive had no luck.
@zoomlemon I was not able to find it either. What I do is get the float from Finviz, it's really fast. From there add a "Note" section on the watchlist and type it there.
