@RobTheTob My chart is from Friday, 08/04. "A few days later" hasn't happened yet :)
@RobTheTob Regarding "wasn't massive", mayby you are thinking of some other stock. AAOI basically erased a month of solid gains https://www.screencast.com/t/CwzjaYX4
@psk2329 From what I have seen, VWAP is much more meaningful as the day goes on. VWAP is calculated from the start of the trading day, thus during the open it's not very useful. But from Mid-day onwards, it is.
@derekb1959 I used to think the same, but it's actually the opposite. In the morning vwap starts at 0, which means the volume weight average is much more accurate and volatile until about noon-1pm then it becomes such a big number/diluted it barely moves. You will notice after noon it starts to flat-line and become less accurate. regardless its acts like a magnet and you play the trend on how it reacts to it.

@derekb1959 hi Derek..came across you through turbobob's wall......good to know that your WL's are kinda overlapping with his which is in itself a great achievement.......m sure you will be profitable consistently and my best wishes to you..........i read one of your comment that you hav been studying for almost a year.....just curious.....can u share what all dvds have you been studying? can you share the names......are you short or long biased? were u tim's challenge or do you subscribe to any 'guru' WLs?
My reply got cut off. Did I run out of "max characters"?
So I don't really want to post comments about other Guru's here. If you want to have a discussion offline, we could do that via email.
@derekb1959 thanks for the detailed reply...apprecitate it......can i have your email?

@Turbobob I made a blog post here for my 3 losing trades today (you saw my ZN already) https://profit.ly/user/derekb1959/blog/3-trades-no-setups--losers Did you use to do stuff like this? I just need to know this is normal learning process, to keep my confidence. I know you said below your increased success was due to "....recognizing better set ups. And trading only A+ set ups. Being patient and waiting for the trade to come to me." You see I can name the setups, and draw them and explain them, and probably give a class on them. I totally believe it, yet I don't do it. Any psychology advice?

the days to cover for INSM is 6.04 It was same a week ago, month ago. Short Interest is 5.6% outstanding float is 62.38M according to bloomberg
You should have hold the NTNX. Pretty much all the brokers have buy rating on the stock
It is reported by the NASD on the 15th and the 30th of each month. The best source is the actual exchange as each source seems to have it different (yahoo finance, bloomberg etc.)
I trade what I see (chart, price action) not what I read (brokers buy recommendations, etc.)
