I took off the P/L column on my IB because of this trade so I could focus solely on the chart. Saw this earnings winner was falling and quickly ended trade but soon bounced back up as high as 3.07 the next day.

Several lessons learned when trying to time the bounce. Firstly, couldn't execute the sell fast enough to get all shares off fast enough. Second of all got sucked into fake bounce. I need to get a better level 2 reader or I need to learn to better read it. Won't trade no more OTC til I figure it out.

Fakeout breakout, then came right back down and never went below 2.52 support for rest of day.

Plug spiking on news of deal. I took profits way too early. Went up to around 9 by end of the day so left a lot of money on the table. Took a quick hundred but played it terrible but safe.

support around 2.30 late day, decided to take my profits instead of hold for potential gap up because it was down so much on the day.

Bought 1000 shares near support trying to get a bounce…

Profits evaporated as I tried to cover putting bid way above ask and finally closed out at 3.85...

Saw FNMA broke 4.0 resistance and bought on the breakout. Held for an hour and didn't move the way I wanted. Got out at 4.04. Little did I know, 4.02 was support and then the stock moved up to the 4.20's.

Rebought, looking for a spike. None until much later in the day and already out of position.

Gap down in the morning.
