How do you enter trade so quickly because price moves so quickly. I am having problem buying when market open.

you have to have your limit orders in place if you know there will be big swings on a stock... :)

when the price keeps increase then if you chase it then I end up with higher price and sell at loss

right now I am using Credential Direct (Interior Savings Credit Union) when I buy I am up and ready for market to open 6:30 am pacific time which is 9:30 eastern time. Unfortunately I do not have a trading account where i can buy pre or after market. But as a new trader I don't feel the need to do that as I am still new to this so do what I can within trading hrs.

first I do my scans the night before to see if there is anything within my criteria. then I look up the stocks to see what the companies are like, check the charts going back as far as 5 years to see if it spikes often. then I watch it to see what it is doing for the day check the news, etc. sometimes I get in within the first half hr, sometimes end of day. depends on what is happening. Again, I am new at this. am just testing the waters.
