I"m a new challenge student and i have watched a few of Tim's dvds and watch his video lesson everyday. I have only watched Penny stocking, Penny Stocking Part Duex, Disk one of Penny Stocking Framework, and all of the Trader Checklist Except part 10 for some reason it would not work. I started trading with 15k i now have 13k and some change in my trading account. my biggest loss was on buying 50 $YHOO PUT contracts thinking it would go down due the recent news of the hack. I was wrong and lost $1100 in a few minutes that was my own fault for sure. no pre planning no info just a guess. So the next week I decided to just buy and sell what ever Tim was at the moment I would receive an alert from Tim. I would get an alert most of the time during my 50 min commute to work i would get on my phone while driving (not recommended) and buy what he was buying. by the time i would get the alert i was buying above where Tim was buying. I would watch the stock for a min and then start working on truck(I am a diesel tech for Freightliner of Utah) so i would set alerts on my account when it got below or above the price i set. i have yet to get an alert for a stock that has reached an above set point only below points.  While working i would check my account and the chat room here and there and bam Tim would close his position. I would go to to close my position and bam the stock dropped 20 or 30 cents below where i had bought it. afterwords i would look at the chart and see when tim bought and sold the particular stock and sure enough he bought low and sold high exact opposite of me. i bought high and sold low. Tim knows his stuff I deff don't I need to learn a shit load more about charts and markets. its paper trading for me for now. Dont follow an alert by the time you get that alert and you log in or put in an order that stock has moved up and you end up buying too high and buy the time the sell alert comes its too late. do not trade on strait alerts. you have to be glued to what your getting into and trade accordingly. unfortunately for me I cant quit my day job with 13k to my name and support a wife and two kids for the long term. Lesson learned even know Tim says over and over not to follow anyone's alert. I guess i learned the hard way.
