I guess since learning rule #1 is the most important rule I am learning to trade by - cut losses quickly - I earned an A+ today. Would like to figure out timing and entry levels though.

I cannot seem to get the timing down...too early or too late. Cut both losing trades today fast...out of trades until Tuesday, so with daughter getting married this weekend and Labor Day, I won't mind taking tomorrow off!

Just sucking at timing...seems whenever I go long on a stock, it goes up 1-2% and then reverses...should have cut a bit sooner, but this stock had been spiking all day. Will I ever get the timing down?

This one really pissed me off as it looked like, at volume of 1.5M at 10am that it would be liquid enough to get in and out of... In was fine, but out took several tries and a lot of slippage - I tried to get out at $.21, but that failed. Damn...bad week for me so far.

Cut loss quickly so on that count this was a successful trade

Started running south, so cut losses for a tiny win...good out as the stock collapsed.

BOUGHT THIS ETF BECAUSE BREAKING NEWS MENTIONED A BLOOMBERG ARTICLE SITING SLV AS TRADING AT A 10-20% DISCOUNT. I WOULD HAVE RIDDEN THIS LONGER BUT GOING CAMPING TOMORROW (SEE PREVIOUS TRADE NOTES RE: NOT LEAVING OPEN TRADES WHILST CAMPING). NOT A BAD WIN THOUGH!

BOUGHT THIS ONE AND WENT CAMPING, FIGURING STRONG GOLD MINER STOCK WOULD HOLD UP...IT DIDN'T SLIDE BADLY, BUT HAD I HAD AN INTERNET CONNECTION, I WOULD HAVE SOLD THIS ON THE 9TH...HAD SEVERAL OPPORTUNITIES TO DO BETTER, BUT THOUGHT IT WOULD COME BACK IN THIS STRONG SECTOR. I SOLD AT MARKET CLOSE AT A MINIMAL PROFIT CUZ I'M GOING CAMPING AGAIN TOMORROW.

BEEN WATCHING THE METALS MARKETS FOR MOVERS...STRONG PRICING IN SILVER AND GOLD ARE TRANSLATING INTO POTENTIAL DECENT TRADES, SO TRADING LIKE A SNIPER, I NABBED LODE AT $1.80 FOR 9k SHARES AND SOLD AT 1.945 FOR OUR LARGEST INTRADAY WIN AND 1ST 4-FIGURE WIN...YEAH BABY!!!

Breaking news play...got in a bit late but the news of an agreement with Walmart I thought this would go to the moon, but it turned south really fast and I got stung on this one...should have pulled the trigger faster, but will do better next time.
