@timothysykes Hey Tim, what do you think of a strategy whereby you spread capital over say 20-50 stocks, ideally buying at their operating low, their base price say which they hover over a few months give or take variance, waiting for a big spike and then selling individual positions once this occurs....feasible?

@JuntiBains You could cover half and swing trade short tomorrow, taking profit in the morning if it crashes out the gate. I decided not to swing on this one but will record it in case it does drop so I know for next time

$ARRY 696 in profits, shorting from the 6.80s. Was shorting up in the $7 area but had to cut as the second spike scared me out...need to work on beng patient with entries on thee gap ups that start looking weak. Covered into the g/r fade with 2800 shares, covering my last shares around 6.34 and 6.42. Decent play as I was down $300 in the morning on this one!

And for those thinking about getting into Forex trading today, remember 5 out of 6 Forex traders blow up and lose everything in their first 6 months, you have NO edge whatsoever, especially on days like today

Do you think the statistics are a lot better for penny stock traders?

@alpha0niner yup, tough to blow up due to lack of leverage and if you follow the rules...leverage and lack of rules kill

@CurrentSeas Hey, just saw your $LBIX post on @timsykes wall. Just a tip, don't buy overextended charts, they are high odds to fail and short sellers like me love them. Sorry to say you were on the other side of my short sell today. I recommend Tim Grittani (kroyrunner on profitly) if you're interested in learning shorting overextended charts. :)

Thanks for the head's up! I am still learning. I was in and out in a matter of minutes, so cut losses quickly. Just posted my trade on profit.ly
