Hi
i am a new - beginner trader.
My plan is to learn to trade and hopefully make money.
I just bought some courses from Timothy Sykes (used):
1: Timothy Sykes - PennyStocking
2: Timothy Sykes - PennyStocking Part Deux
3: Timothy Sykes - Read SEC Filings
4: Timothy Sykes - Learn How to Use Level 2 Quotes
5: Timothy Sykes - ShortStocking
6: Timothy Sykes - TIMFundamentals
7: Timothy Sykes - TIMFundamentals Part Deux
8: Timothy Sykes - TIMRaw
9: Timothy Sykes - TIMTactics
And also tim sykes book Timothy Sykes - An American Hedge Fund as an ebook.
I also have investors underground:
1: Tandem Trader
2: Textbook Trading
And hopefully i will buy in the future Tim grittanis course called trading tickers, and also a subscription here for video lessons from tim sykes.

I also want to open an account for buying and shorting stocks. And i think i need a margin account?
I watched some of tim sykes videos "wich broker to chose for pennys tocks" and he recommends interactive brokers and etrade. But they have the PTD rule wich i dont mind. But i have one huge problem, and that is "i probably have bad credit" now, i had debt that is gone now but it left a bad credit score behind. And i dont know if it is required to have a god credit score if you want to shortsell stocks?
I have today approximately 3500 USD, and i was planing to start a suretrader account, but changed my mind after watching tim sykes videos of wich broker to chose, where he talks or mentions that offshore brokers are not good. So i was thinking to go with etrade or interactive brokers, but i dont know if they accept non us residents ( i live in sweden ) and people with 3500 USD.
i appreciate all help. Thanks....
And also sorry for my english, english is not my first language.
Haha yeah gotta always be adapting man!
suretrader is good for otc stocks, but etrade and interactive brokers has good shorting lists. I am 26 years old and wonder if i can open an account with 3000 USD at interactive brokers?
Nope it's actually 25 or younger: https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=4969
And of course - practice paper trading to get used to charts, buying/selling and indicators. A few months of that will help you build confidence and familiarize yourself with everything
