@TradingDaze Hi, I just would like to know how your experience using SureTrader has been? I'm still deciding among brokers

I know that from my own experience. I haven't been trading long, but so far I've been able to make a 9% profit. It's not much but I consider this time to be a learning period, then I'll step it up. I also recommend reading "The Candlestick Course", by Steve Nisom. It will help you read the charts and be better at predicting trend changes. As far as, platform I use the web based platform and use E-Trade Pro as my scanner and resource for charting. Also you may consider Tim's Stocks to Trade

Ok great! Thank you very much for all the information, it's quite useful and congrats for your 9% profit! I'm going to read that book. I also read that you can adjust your commission rate by telling their support staff that you're trading penny stocks so they'll adjust to $4.95/trade up to 10,000 shares, $.000495/share. Sure thank you, I already have STT (:

@TradingDaze So just to clarify. Staying under 1000 shares was profitable? Until you reach $25k and change broker. And am i correct in the following scenario: I buy 1000 shares of ABC and pay $7.99 up and down commission ,and on the same side buy 1000 of XYZ and pay another $7.99 up and down right? no other fees?

Yes, but I think $7.99 is a few dollars higher. I think I pay $4.99 round trip with other fees that amount to another 1.50 depending on amount.
