I would not be surprised by a dip today because a lot of people will not read the transcript or listen to the cc. This is a longer term hold and not a day trade.

to find news (earning or contract) you can use the news scan. You can filter the news scanner to fit your criteria. To find stocks between specific price, cap and float, you need to open a tab, open a screener and put in your numbers.

@Legendario The problem is liquidity. BEGINNERS should not play OTCBB and if you do it should be a very small portion of capital. Not that they are bad to play but you can get screwed over fast. Personally I only keep 1 OTC stock in my trading folio at any one time.

@3dpancake You say it is NOT liquidity but, then you stipulate it needs $500K volume... that's called liquidity. I am saying, MOST OTCBB can be very illliquid and you can get stuck if you aren't using that as a primary gauge.

@3dpancake Good luck in your future trades.

You have to compare it to the average trading volume. It's relative. A stock which trades 10.000 shares a day, and has a float of 1.000.000, then I'd say that this is not a 'low floater'. But if the average trading volume is 5.000.000 with a float of 1.000.000, then I do consider it to be a low floater. Imo, the float is small whenever the trading volume is bigger than the float

I got you fam, use think or swim, go to market watch, then any news will pop up with a yellow icon. earnings will pop up as a blue icon, and dividends pop up with green

There are 4 major news sources. Other sites feed them in like they are their own(AKA yahoo) but they are leeches. #1 globenewswire.com (this is "THE" source) Nasdaq's official news feed. Nothing is faster except insider rumors. #2 prnewswire.com #3 businesswire.com #4 marketwired.com. I am new to trading but if you want factual print news this is where you go.

@BlackHaloMath Shares Outstanding = Total Number Of Shares - Shares Held In Treasury. Float = Shares Outstanding - Insider Shares - Above 5% Owners - Rule 144 Shares

Best place is Finviz. Sites can have different numbers but Finviz is pretty accurate and has a ton of data all in one area.

tell them you want a free trial of pro. WAIT until july 15th to do this tho, cuz that way it'll be halfway thru the quarter n they'll give you the rest of the quarter free and the next quarter after, so you get 4.5 months free, if you do it now you'll only get 3 months free cuz this quarter (june-august) just started

Actually the next quarter begins July 1. We are almost at the end of a quarter.
