Dont be fooled... You are smarter than you think!
Trust yourself. Trust your training. Trust Tim's training (You Lucky Challenge Students). Trust your ideas are worth the time you spent developing them!
I have seen a lot of people at the end of the year talk about how they cannot believe its been 1 year since they joined. Me too! Almost 9 full months since I started trading regularly. Man, how time flies!
I just want to say one thing as the year is about to turn. We, as a trading community, are at a major advantage discussing ideas and alerting others about stocks. Face it! We all get into our own hype. What I hope you do in the next year is focus on your own hype. The hype you can create, for yourself as a trader, independently nailing YOUR ideas! Cut out the hype others create and stick to your thesis!
Stick to your gut! Nothing else will ever get you through trading (in the long run) with all the noise out there, which there is an abundance of in the trading community!
I spent 26 weeks trading in 2 different ways. 1 - Trading off of alerts and quick charting OR 2 - Trading off of my own plan developed with long hours of research, dedication, charting, etc etc etc. A wise man once told me, "a random trade has a 33% chance of success. 33% upside, downside, and sideways. Always look for trades with better than 50/50 odds."
If you do this, the money will follow. It will be a wind at your Back/Time/Investment/and most importantly CONFIDENCE! Believe, believe, believe after you Study, study, study!
Best of luck traders and Happy Holidays!
P.S. Developing your own plan and watching it turn against you is MORE beneficial than entering with no plan and watching it work!
They will more than likely not be headliner trending chat-room chatter stocks but can still present the same 20 or 30 cent opportunities that the new runners can.
so true! still working on that.
GREAT post. Gotta learn it on your own, there's just no easy ticket. If there was there would sure be a lot more millionares in the world. Study, study, study and trust your newly found knowledge when the opportunity arises.
