My goal for this blog post is to document where I am in the process of becoming a consistently profitable trader.
I became a part of the challenge back in 2018, prior to this I was in Tim's Pennystocking silver for roughly 2 months during my freshman year of college.
I dropped out of college after freshman year with no real aim at what I wanted to do, I knew that I had an interest in the idea of trading.
Then thankfully I became a challenge student, with large ambitions and determination to become a successful trader.
I have spent endless hours studying, I wish I knew the exact amount of hours but I know it's absurd... (This is a good thing, don't get me wrong) I have also an absurd amount of hours on screen time.
At this present moment, I have a total of 13 trades in 2 years roughly. This is not because I don't know what to trade or how to. I do very well at finding the most volatile stocks and watching key moves at key times and prices, predicting, reacting, and really analyzing different kinds of stocks, different sectors, Nasdaq vs otc, low volume vs large volume.
But, for me, after my first sizable loss, it was more about a growth mindset. I wanted to understand every little nuance when it comes to the market. Really break it down into small and manageable pieces. This way the market as a whole wasn't so overwhelming to me while trying to stay profitable.
Then, I understood that it wasn't about the money but all about the process and having the knowledge and experience. Preparation has been my key aim for the past year and a half. I have been following and learning from some very exceptional challenge students, trying to find what resonated with me in all successful students.
I let go of trying to become a profitable trader very fast, nothing rushed is good work. I have practiced patience and trusted the process. As I said in 2019, this is a marathon, not a sprint.
So I am ending this by saying, my knowledge account is very prosperous. Now it is time to get my cash account to the same level.
Study, Grind, Have Laser Focus, Have Discipline, and Trust The Process. God Bless.
