This was my first swing/overnight trade that I have taken so far. I decided to hold this trade overnight, as the price action was similar to PN the day before during afterhours. It also had a news catalyst that came out during after hours. It did not gap up or down convincgly at 4am, however, I waited and stuck to my stop loss and sold for a nice $.32 per share win. Great trade with a 3-1 risk/reward.

Took a small loss on this ticker, as I traded the breakout after 10am. It spiked up to $1.74, then proceeded to dip lower and struggle. I believe the main reason this breakout failed was because of the time of day. I entered the trade at 10:18am and cut it at 10:38am. This was a still a discisplined trade, as I had my finger on the sell button and cut the loss quickly. Good lesson.

Bought this stock when it was crossing the $1 level after the market open. It had news last night regarding a merge with Clean. I tried buying it at $1.02, but it was at $1.05, so I got filled at $1.04. My goal was $.15 per share on this trade, but it was very choppy, so I got out into strength at $1.15. It spiked to the $1.20s, but I am happy with my sell. Another nice, but choppy, dollar cross play.

RCT play. Wanted it to spike more and test the HOD level at $4.69, it got up to the $1.40s, but then started fading back down, so I got out with a small loss. Good sample to add to my RCT data and a good lesson. More of a speculative play, as I do not believe it had any news.

This stock was on my radar for a dollar cross play all of premarket, thanks to scanner that Tim Bohen put together on STT. I waited for the stock to break the $1 level, then entered the trade. It kept reaching a new high slightly then failing back down, so I sold it for a small win. It later went to the $1.20s, but it was too choppy and had too much resistance for my liking. Another small green day, as I made back what I lost on SAGT.

Bought this stock after the market open, as it was an earnings winner and it was holding up pretty well during premarket. This was a failed dip and rip. The stock spiked up a little past its highs, but then started to fail back down, so I cut it for a small loss. Need to work on not chasing the HOD breakout before 9:45am on these dip and rips, as the breakout can get stuffed and the stock can start to fade. Good lesson and good discipline cutting the loss.

Dip and rip pattern after the market open. Entered this stock when it hit the premarket HOD breakout level, as it had a news catalyst around 8:30am, low float, and great float rotation. This stock quickly spiking up to the $1.70s and halted. I thought it would spike more after the halt, but it started dipping lower, so I got out with a profit. This was a great trade and it may have spiked more if it wasn't halted. Either way, good lesson.

This was a failed RCT play. I entered the stock based on its news regarding its fuel tank authorization in the gulf. I entered at the RCT entry point, however, it was having trouble getting over $4, so I cut it when it hit my stop loss. Another disciplined trade that I cut for a small loss. Good lesson.

This was a dip and rip pattern that I traded based on its news that came out at 7am EST this morning. The stock spiked during premarket, then started to fade and dip after the market open. I waited for it to break the regular hours HOD and after 9:45 AM to enter the trade. This was a failed dip and rip, as it only spiked $.10 then failed. I cut it when it hit my stop loss with a few cents of slippage. This was a good and disciplined trade.

I re-entered this stock when it was breaking out past the HOD at the $9.45 level. This stock was very choppy and did not break out very much. It kept spiking a little and dipping, so it was very annoying and choppy. I got out slightly above my stop loss, as it kept dipping quickly. Overtrading today, so need to get back to my rhythm of picking the best plays.
