Bought on huge volume spike after news that Apple was going to invest almost a billion to build solar farm in California, to power their operations. couldn't break $50 after a week and earnings loomed, so I took profits.
Came in to work this morning trying to make a quick buck day trading (though I quit, and am focused on Swing trading). didn't set stop, stock that beat earnings crashed from what apparently was a bad conference call. drop 7 dollars a share in minutes. was waiting for the bounce to get out, finally gave in after drop accelerated and sold. then bounced almost to my buy point. ... stupid Gamble not a trade. leared a lesson, a expensive one.
I wanted too keep this for a while, cause constant earnings beats, and strong trend riding apples success. great 2015 guidance but weak market shook me out during January range. Fear of S&P breaking support and falling hard.
Swing trade off lower trend line looking for downtrend line break. didn't happen sold before falling back down.
