Hello,
I am very new to trading (never traded in my life), and I really want to get into it. I know this should probably be posted somewhere else, but I figure there must be plenty of you who use Mac's and have had to do what I need to do. I created an account on SureTrader and I am trying to use the demo before I start trading with actual money. The problem I am having is apparently no brokers have their platforms set up for Mac computers, so you have to download an app that will allow you to work like you're on a PC.
I have found one called VMware Fusion which seems like the best one, however, since I am a little technically challenged I cannot figure out how to install it. I downloaded it, but then it wants me to download my operating system on the app. I am unsure how to do this because I bought this Mac a few months ago and the OS X Yosemite was already installed on it, so I don't have a disc to use in order to install the OS X onto the app which is what most youtube videos and message boards online say to do.
Is there anybody out there who understands the problem I am having and can walk me through how to get this app going so that I can start practicing and learn how to trade?
Thanks
downloaded on your system. you can find videos on youtube on how to do it. you can also get the windows torrent as well but i wouldn't recommend it as you can't activate it cuz its hard to find the activation code.
Hope this helps.
USE CROSSOVER. extremely inexpensive and works like a charm. You don't even have to download another windows platform. Trust me
Hey sorry. Just saw you're using Suretrader... Open an Ameritrade account. don't even have to fund it. Download Think or Swim... works on the mac. start with that
