ALDX: Yesterday the stock gapped up off its base and traded as high as $7.30 but closed near the bottom of it range. Today was a positive inside day for the shares trading as high as $6.60, closing at $6.35. The stock may need to consolidate for a few days before continuing on. It has resistance at $7.00 and $7.30 with $8.00 and $10.00 as price targets. Short ratio, 5.6 days to cover.
BLDP: Completely missed this move today. But after moving up strongly last week, it spiked sharply higher today trading up to $4.75 closing at $4.72 ($4.90 after hours). It looks to have strong momentum and $6.00 is the next resistance level. Short ratio, 3.4 days to cover so may not add much of a short squeeze.
BZUN: Very profitable trade for mine today when this stock broke through the $36.00 level and traded as high as $38.00 closing at $37.35. Price target $44.00.
EMES: I read in the news that there will be a world shortage of sand and as such Oil service stocks in the fracking business have started to move. EMES is one of these stocks It had a nice pop today crossing the long term declining tops line. It traded as high as $8.33 clsoing at $8.00. It has lots of work to do to go higher but worth watching and maybe putting on as a swing. Short ratio, 5.3 days to cover.
JUNO: A stock I have been watching, though I didn't write about it as it was out of my trading range. But It is a very strong pattern and I took a swing trade at $43.00 as it forms a nice flag pattern. Today it started to move up and I traded it for $1.00/share profit. It has broken out of the flag pattern trading as high as $45.75 closing at $45.32. I would add to my long position over $45.75 with $50.00 as the price target. Short ratio, 4.6 days to cover.
NVCR: Stock has been in a consolidation pattern for the last several months and today traded through the lateral resistance and traded as high as $22.10 before closing at $21.75. It is right at the bottom of the up trending channel and on the rising moving averages. Over $22.10 and my price target is $28.00. Short ratio, 8.1 days to cover.
SIEN: Strong chart today but I didn't trade it even though it was a perfect set up. It traded as high as $15.04 closing at $15.01. The stock seems to have a lot of momentum and I would look to go long over today's high with $17.00 as the price target. Short ratio 10.5 days to cover so may be adding to the move.
VCEL: Stock is forming a bullish wedge formation after it popped up through lateral resistance a few weeks ago. It is at lateral resistance at $4.50. But if it can get through that level then $5.00 and $7.50 are price targets.
Hi Mr. Bob, I really appreciate you to create those watch lists, they are really helpful. I was just wondering if you could explain in detail how do you screening out those stocks. I am cherry-pick a lot of time in the morning, but I found out that is not very successful strategy. I am desire to learn from you experience, and from there, I can apply to my own strategy. Thanks. PS: My email is: ckevinck@hotmail.com
It is too difficult to go through the process. As there are so many moving parts and variables involved.
I use StT as well, but my laptop doesn't have an i7 processor so in speaking with StT support I learned it won't work right all the time for me. What do you use to tell when a stock is nearing a prior high? Do you use the built-in 2-week high, 52 week high, or something else? I've tried the setups that Tim Bohen uses but again, they don't work for me usually and I wind up with faulty results.
I only use STT for charting and research. I just look at a lot of charts find when stocks are approaching break out levels.
