Markets sold off hard at the close today with saber rattling and stories of miniatures nukes by North Korea. The SPX had hit new highs earlier in the day but markets don't like the unknown.
CSTM: Last Friday the stock broke out above lateral resistance at $9.00. Monday it had an inside day and today it carried on and traded as high as $10.95 before closing at $10.35. If the momentum can continue then $12.00 is the first target and then $15.00.
DVAX: Stock started off strong and I thought it was going to go. I tried to let it run as it did reach a high of $19.60 before closing only up $.25 at $18.65 (after hours it got smacked). The trend is still up but it has to trade over $19.60 to confirm. If so, then $24.00 is my price target. Short ratio, 3.5 days to cover.
LC: The stock has been building a base for the past year and today it gapped off the bottom of the channel to trade as high as $6.47 and closing at $6.45. It does have significant lateral resistance $6.75. But a break above that level and $8.50 and $10.00 are the next target. Short ratio, 9.6 days to cover so it could add some momentum to the trade if it breaks out.
MTOR: A stock I wrote about last night. It broke through the lateral resistance at $19.00 and traded as high as $19.61 today closing at $19.26. My target is still $23.00. short ratio 9.2 days to cover.
MYOK: Another big winner from my watch list last night as it has a huge follow through day trading as high as $36.75 and closing at $36.20. It hit my short term range today but if this momentum continues then $40.00 is the target now. Short ratio, 4.4 days to cover.
Thanks for the sharing it!
