Volatile day on Wall Street today with lots of stocks doing very well. The biotechs (LABU) are looking strong. After breaking out of its base and then consolidating for the last few weeks, they look like they are poised to go again.
CENX: A stock I have written about many times in the past. It has been in a long term up trend and recently broke through lateral resistance at $17.50. Today it traded as high as $18.34 and closed at $18.34. It is mid channel so if we should see it trade over today's high then $20.00 and $24.00 are the price targets. Short ratio, 5.8 days to cover.
DWCH: Normally a thin trader but the stock gapped up sharply through lateral resistance on decent volume trading as high as $10.80 before closing at $10.75. It is near resistance at $11.50, both lateral and top of the channel. But if it should break through that level then $14.00 is the price target.
MCRB: Normally a thin trader but stock has been up for the last 5 days going from $10.50 area to today's high of $14.29 closing at $13.60. There is resistance at $14.00 and $15.00. Through those levels and we should se $20.00. Short ratio, 15.2 days to over. I would say the squeeze is on.
ZN: Another stock traders are shorting because it is up. It traded as high as $5.24 today closing at $5.21. But after hours it traded as high as $5.90. There is resistance at $6.00 and $7.00. Through there and $8.00 is the next level. I'll be watching price action around $6.00. If it moves through there with conviction I will look to go long.
Bob, your success ratio is phenomenol. Would you consider doing a "trade of the week" video tutorial on YouTube to explain why you picked the stock, entry and exit points?
Good idea
