CENX: Stock has been stair stepping its way higher in a rising channel. Today it traded just above resistance and closed near the top end of the range ($17.83 high, $17.60 close). I would look to go long over today's high with $20.00 and $23.00 as price targets. Short ratio, 5.8 days to cover.
CONN: Another stock stair stepping its way up in a rising channel. Today it broke through lateral resistance and traded as high as $21.20 before closing at $20.65. It has resistance at $21.30 so needs to break through that level to get my interest. If it can, then $28.00 is my target. Short ratio, 9.9 days to cover so could add momentum to the trade if it goes.
CYRX: Stock is in a strong rising channel trading as high as $6.10 today closing at $5.91. A trade over today's highs and it looks like it is going to $7.00.
IPXL: Stock broke through the neck line of a reverse head and shoulders pattern today trading as high as $18.75 before closing at $18.10. It closed right on lateral support. I would look to go long over today's high with $21.00 as the price target. Short ratio, 4 days to cover.
MEIP: Stock popped out of a wedge formation today trading as high as $3.10 before closing at $3.07 It needs to get over $3,25 with $3.50 and $4.00 as targets.
QDEL: Huge day for this stock today where it gapped up this morning and traded as high as $34.16 closing at $34.12. Very powerful move and I would expect it to continue tomorrow. Price target mid $40s with short ratio of 18 days to cover. The squeeze is on.
Typcially the hot stocks are in a couple of sectors. For example, pot stocks have been hot. Solar stocks are heating up now. The last year it has been semiconductors. Now biotechs I think are coming in to vogue.
Thanks for the heads up on $CENX ill be watching this @ open for direction ! Can you explain the short ratio "5.8 days to cover " what does this mean? I will be in the chat
@Turbobob Thanks for the insight, I was only looking at the chart and not the bigger picture i.e. sector/company health
