Generally a down day on Wall Street yesterday as earnings season is under way. But, even though the index ended flat, there were many winners out there in the market including 4 from my watch list for yesterday.
AKS: Large float stock I wouldn't normally trade but it broke above key resistance yesterday to close at $6.18. And with markets in a solid bull market, this stock should continue to go. I would look to go long this stock above the pre-market highs of $6.50 with a target price of $7.75.
CLF: Another large float resource stock that has broken out of its channel pattern to trade higher closing yesterday at $8.02. I would look to go long over the pre-market high of $8.25 with a price target of $9.30.
CRY: Earnings winner from yesterday that popped up above resistance of $13.00, had a high of $14.18 and closed $13.75. A move above $14.20 and I will look to go long with a price target of $15.00
EBIO: Nice winner from my watch list yesterday. It did reach my target price but pulled back sharply from its highs to close at $3.48. The stock probably needs to consolidate in here for the next week or so before heading higher. I would want to see it trade over $4.45 before entering a trade with a new price target of $7.25.
EXAS: Huge winner I have been writing about since it broke above the $11.00 range. Yesterday it had a huge gap up on earnings trading as high as $17.47 closing at $16.21. This stock also will need to consolidate after such a big move. It traded up against longer term resistance and is trading at the top of its up trending channel. But a trade above the recent high I would look to go long with a price target of $22.00 Good one to watch for next week.
YRD: A Chinese stock I have been writing about since it broke above $10.25. It has been consolidating the last few days after making a new high of $23.25. It is very volatile, low volume trader but a trade above the recent high and I would look to go long. Short term target is $24.00 with $28.00 my ultimate goal for this stock.
VUZI: Stock broke out above multi-year highs two days ago and yesterday had an inside day on lower volume. I would look to go long this stock above $9.30 with a price target of $10.00.
OCLR: I am long the stock at $6.00 from yesterday after it broke above a 5 year high. Above $6.10 and I would look to add to my position with a price target of $7.50. Shorts, 13.75 days to cover. I think this could add momentum to the trade if it starts to go.
Great call on $AKS Bob, thank you! The first thing I do every morning is read your watchlist!
thanks for your support. I appreciate the comments.
YRD was a seriously undervalued IPO that promoters and the street said to stay away from. Obvs they were wrong as always
