Once again tried to get in on the first pullback but I could not trust my hot keys so I had to enter it manually which didn't work because I was to slow. Waited for the next pull back and got in at 11.25. Sold at 11.00 because I got scared that this thing was going to drop faster than I could execute my exit so I played it safe and cut my loses quickly. Again bad entry good exit.

Well, my secret sauce pattern was spot on but my execution was poor. I tried to get in around 5.70 once it broke the first pull back but my hot keys on etrade pro would not make the trade. I then waited for the next pull back to try it again but again it would not execute the trade. Finally I entered it in manually. I also exited manually because by this point I did not trust my hot keys to work.

Comedy of errors on this morning spike pull back play that I have been testing. First I thought it was .60 not .06. I would never trade a stock that is .06. when I use my hot keys it automatically buys .03 above the bid so When I thought I was placing my bid at .66 it was really .093. Once I discovered this I tried to sell but it took me forever to get it executed. Anyway I lost my commission fee plus .50. Great lesson. I am not comfortable playing stocks that are below $1.

Not a terrible trade, got a couple things right but two things made it a loosing trade. 1. Didn't pay attention to the spread. it was $.10, which was too much when using hot keys. 2. I didn't take profits when it was topping at $4.89 because I was trying to make back my loss from the previous trade. Great lessons learned. Study, study, trade, study! Overall grade "D+"

Learned a lot on this trade. 1. Spread was to wide for using hot keys 2. didn't pay attention to the double top 3. didn't follow plan of buying the dip on a trend reversal below VWAP 4. Didn't cut loses quickly when it blew past my mental stop ( holding and hoping is not a plan!) Overall I give myself an "F" on this my first real trade but I loved it and will be sure to not make these same mistakes again.
