Tim alerted CDRB in the chat room at 09:28 AM. I quickly checked out the credentials before the open. Small Cap, tiny float and a history of spiking is perfect. I waited for the Open and there was an immediate spike with volume. I waited for the second candle to close above the morning open which it did. I placed my trade in at 09:32:29 but it didn't get executed until a minute later! Sold as soon as it hit my target of 30 cents and got 56 cents! Some refining to do still, but very happy :)

I entered into this stock as there was decent price action so I was trying to dip buy it. If I had the knowledge and tools that I use now(16/01/16), there is no way that I would have entered into this trade where I did. This was a good learning trade though and I cut losses much quicker having learnt from my $VHC trade!

My thesis was, due to this running so fast there was a huge short squeeze about to happen! I waited for a dip buy and got one. Unfortunately it was a trap and it ran away from me in the wrong direction! Lesson learnt is to trade stocks that you know about. As it happened so fast I froze and couldn't get my sell order in so had to put in a market order to cut losses! I was also too eager to make a trade as I missed $GIGA in the morning. I had the right idea, but got caught in a BEAR trap!

My first EVER penny stock trade was a flop! It's ok as I have several reasons why it was a loss, but should have been a $320 profit!! 1) I didn't put in a sell limit order even though my target was 1.96. 2) I didn't know you could sell out of market hours if you have a limit order in place. 3) Using a rubbish broker as I can't use Etrade since I'm in the UK. 4) Trading on my mobile with terrible signal! Overall I've learnt several VALUABLE lessons and very happy with what I've learnt.
