Took a small gain of $39 in PTCT yesterday on a short. Yes, sounds nice well....Here is where stops need to be implemented people. I had 2300 shares long, did not stop out as I had a bias that it would bounce, so I let it go against me. Didn't think much of it and went to do other things....

My price was $13.48 I think. It came back around 1pm to the $13.30's.....did I take a small loss that was right there for me? NOPE! Too damn stubborn. So I waited overstayed, ended up I cut 1300 shares at a huge loss, but I held 1000 overnight as well. Needless to say Big loss...BIG LOSS. To the tune of 4k!! I Will post tomorrow when it shows up. Luckily I have another $35-40K, but I like to use suretrader and keep account small, around $5k. Sometimes this makes it harder than using all that cash in a better US account, BUT it helps me learn as well.....and learning NEVER STOPS trust me, I have a lot of market screen time over the years. I'm almost 45 years old. I traded for a living from 25-28 or so. So I've been on the successful side and the unsuccessful side. 

Sometimes when you screw up the market seems to come back to very close to your price and you have an opportunity to get out with a small loss, but never goes to the black for you. Always be on your toes people. Never get to complacent or too confident....as the market WILL humble you more than you may know. 

Made a few hundred today but whoopeee!!
