Time flys - Already 4 Months As A Challenge Student Completed
As April these spring \ summer months are extreme hectic for me but i try to study and trade as much as possible
The real good news is that i only traded 8 times in April - still used alot of my time analyzing and keeping stocks on the radar but only 8 trades.
Another good thing is that I lost alot less than previous months - 1756 $ - this is including commisions and margin interest when I used that - Im unfortunatly struggling with the same as always - way too big positions and really struggling to cut losses quickly.
I can't understand why this is so hard for me - its like I freeze up and im ending up sitting infront of the computer chasing the stock and at the end taking a huge huge loss - this is really frustrating and bad!
Atleast i know i have problems with this and im trying to figure out what to do with it - but it's my biggest weakness.
I watch all daily videos and webinars throughout the month and I try to see as much DVDs as possible - studying is the only way to be good at this
Wish you all the best of luck in the markets and remember: this is not a sprint - its a marathon!
I don't know what size your trades usually are, but if you specify to yourself that every single trade is only going to be X size, because the goal is not the profit but on doing the trade right, then it may help to get the emotion of greed or fear under control that is causing you to miss the right exit points.
I'm still early in my learning process, so please take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm thinking myself into your situation and trying to think how I would try to overcome this type of problem.
