@doublehummper Hello Tim. I'm new to investing, and want to know how much money you recommend starting? and which broker?

Hi ricardo, I started with $500 3 years ago but then bumped it up to $2500 shortly after. I really started to progress much better once I put in $8,000 of my own money then I doubled that fairly quick. Small accounts tend to get beat by commissions more than the actual trades

i use scottrade for my swing trades and I use suretrader for day trades
